This workshop will help educators recognize the signs, signals, and behaviors that may indicate a student is using vaping or tobacco products. Participants will learn how to identify potential indicators of use, understand how vaping may impact students in school, and explore effective, supportive ways to respond when concerns arise.

The session will also provide practical strategies for starting conversations with students, connecting them with appropriate resources, and supporting students who may be ready to reduce or quit vaping.

This training is provided to all Eastern Suffolk BOCES component districts as a part of the JUUL Vaping Initiative programming.
